Michael has worked in the energy industry for over fifteen years across all aspects of policy, project and programme development, and field level deployment with a focus on remote area infrastructure development and service delivery.

As someone committed to creating real and positive impact for remote and regional communities, Michael has worked in rural India coordinating community energy system developments, helped develop and deliver community engagement frameworks for large energy programs in Australia, and delivered advisory and project management services to a range of projects and clients including government agencies, regulatory bodies, utilities, regional development agencies, community organisations and end users across remote Australia, South Asia and the Pacific.  This includes managing the Bushlight India Project, which won Australia’s most prestigious award for an engineering project, the Sir William Hudson Award.

As Ekistica’s Operations Manager and Senior Consultant, Michael has been instrumental in the company’s development and continues to play an active role in providing independent advice and delivering projects for a range of clients. Having been with the company since it was established, Michael is a significant contributor to Ekistica’s ethos of knowledge sharing and creating impact.
